Well at least one judge in the USA has some sense.  Judge Robert Sweet invalidated seven patents involving breast cancer genes held by Myriad Genetics and the University of Utah.

A fitted sheet (the one with the elastic around the edges to hold it to the bed) is one of the most difficult items to fold; the elastic makes it go all funky.  It is easy to fold by following the below 3 easy steps.

First trip outside USA E-mail

Well today I took my first trip outside the USA since I came back more than a year ago.  Well, technicaly I am in an Indian casino.  I didn't need my passport, but I can gamble and can eat as much as I like for one low reasonable price.

California highway patrol on I80 E-mail

The California highway patrol today executed the first mass ticketing procedure on Interstate 80 between Sacramento and San Francisco.  Over 120,000 speeding tickets were issued on this small patch of freeway.

A huge force of CHP officers were on site to deliver the tickets to unsuspecting drivers between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM.  We had a chance to speak to one of the officers involved with the mass ticketing, a Sgt Dan Smith of the CHP.
